Dr. Goldberg and Stafford provide medical and surgical care for patients with minor ear problems as well as those with the most complicated ear, nose or throat conditions. They bring compassion and skill to their work, whether it's treatment for a simple ear infection, or treatment for cancer of the throat.
Dr. Edward Stafford joined Washington Ear, Nose and Throat in 2008. He is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his internship in General Surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan, and his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, both in New York City.
He also completed a fellowship in Advanced Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore. Dr. Stafford is the author of several peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters on the topic of head and neck cancer.
Dr. Howard Goldberg is the founder of Washington Ear, Nose and Throat. In a few short years, he has established himself as a regional leader in the medical and surgical treatment of a vast array of Ear, Nose and Throat Disorders. Dr. Goldberg is a graduate of The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
He completed his internship in General Surgery and his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Goldberg combines an approachable and compassionate bedside manner with meticulous surgical technique and an innovative approach to treating Ear Nose and Throat disorders.
